- Enlighten is an arts-media organisation committed to creating, disseminating, exhibiting and preserving all forms of the arts.
Enlighten was founded in 2007 to screen movies that truly affect the audience, enhances their dreams (or their nightmares), and welcomes them into an alternate reality. This idea has evolved into and organization which helps great art meet great audiences across platforms.
The work of Enlighten falls into four main areas:
Society
Enlighten Society is dedicated to facilitating cultural events including film screenings, discussions, talks and lectures and most importantly providing a catalyst for the social and cultural force of bringing people with shared passions together. All of Enlighten Society’s activities are anchored in a philosophy of members bringing and sharing and taking away something new.
Retail
Enlighten Retail is created to take arts retail in India to the next level by finding evermore engaging forms for our output and ensure new enterprises and collaborations are constantly being discussed, assembled and explored in the marketplace. Right now, Enlighten Home Video acquires and distributes the best of cinema from across the world and is the biggest distributor of alternate content including world cinema', independent films and documentaries in India with more than 200 titles. Enlighten Publishing is created to enable the dissemination of new critical writing, literature and editions.

Enlighten Workroom is the unit that handles the 'Studio business' of quality content creation and its distribution.
