Description
A disillusioned killer embarks on his last hit but first he has to overcome his affections for his cool, detached partner. Thinking it's dangerous and improper to become involved with a colleague he sets out to find a surrogate for his affections. Against the sordid and surreal urban nightscape (set in contemporary Hong Kong), he crosses path with a strange drifter looking for her mysterious ex-boyfriend and an amusing mute trying to get the world's attention in his own unconventional ways.

    About Director: - Wong kar Wai was born in Shanghai and raised in Hong Kong. After a graphic design course he began his career as a production assistant and screenwriter in the early 80s. His directorial debut "As Tears Go By" (1988) established his intense visual style. "Chungking Express" in 1994 proclaimed his genius to the world, that since applauded his evocation of mood and melancholy with colours and sounds - evident in "Days of being Wild", "Happy Together" and "In The Mood For Love'. He has won numerous awards and nominations including at Cannes and Berlin Film Festivals and BAFTA. An auteur of unrequited love, his latest creation is "My Blueberry Nights" with Jude law and Norah Jones.
