    All Quiet on the Western Front is a double Oscar winning film directed by Lewis Milestone (On IMDB top 250 films of all time)

    We started curating WAR FILMS and later reailsed that the above mentioned two films are arguably the best films raising their voice against 'War and violence' in the most direct manner. In both the films the stories are told by the characters who direct participants in the war as soldiers. Both the films are set during the World War 1 period. Even though 'All quiet on the western front' was made 10 years after the war ended and Paths of glory released almost 40 years after the war, they still remain extremely striking, gripping and engaging.
